Owner & Director
Tony is passionate about IT, and has been for as long as he can remember. As a child growing up in the 70's and early 80's, he was fascinated by all sorts of computers and was always tinkering with them.
His bedroom was crammed with all sorts of technology as he experimented with computers; constantly looking for new ways to do things.
It was no surprise to friends and family when Tony left full-time education, and announced that he would dedicate his life to helping businesses get the most out of their IT.
That was over 30 years ago and today Tony is still in love with IT, computers and technology.
He is the owner and Director of IT Support North West (ICU Group Ltd), actively involved, on a daily basis, with his team of over 10 highly qualified support technicians looking after clients' needs.

Ben
Support Team Manager & Field Engineer
After studying Computer Science at Manchester University, Ben started working for a local IT Support Company. Ben and Tony became acquainted when ICU were sub-contracted in by Ben's previous employer, to oversee some of their larger clients' needs. Ben joined ICU full time in 2004 and is now responsible for overseeing the Support Desk and Field Engineering teams on a daily basis, as well as attending clients' sites to conduct project works, and scheduled IT Strategy reviews.

Craig
Support Desk Manager
Craig joined ICU early in 2009, after working in various IT Support roles for over 8 years beforehand, including support of sites across the UK. Craig is responsible for managing the Support Desk team, call responses and follow ups, along with coordinating engineering resource for site works, planned project works, and scheduled IT Strategy reviews.

Karl
Support Desk Engineer
Karl joined our team early in 2015, having worked for a large insurer in the USA for over 12 years. Karl was responsible for delivering IT Support to 10 sites across the state of California. Karl helps with providing 1st and 2nd line support to all clients calling the support desk and is responsible for monitoring client backups on a daily basis.

Dean
Support Desk & Field Engineer
After studying computing at Edge Hill University, Dean's first work role was managing a computer repair shop. Dean then progressed to supporting business computer systems, working for IT Support companies over a 9 year period before joining our team at the beginning of 2020. Dean has acquired various Microsoft Certifications for installing, configuring and administering Microsoft Windows systems. As well as helping out on the Support Desk when available, Dean is responsible for attending clients' sites across the North West of England, managing project works, and conducts scheduled IT Strategy Reviews / Health Checks.

Liam
Support Desk Engineer
Liam joined us in 2018 bringing a wealth of IT Support knowledge with him, having worked for another local IT Support company for several years.

Alex
Support Desk Engineer
After completing his education, specialising in IT Systems & Principles, Alex spent seven years working various IT engineering roles, including being a Technical & Project Team Leader for four years before joining ICU. Alex works exclusively on our Support Desk Team providing support to all clients.

Carlo
Support Desk Engineer
Carlo joined us in 2023 bringing a wealth of IT Support knowledge with him, having worked in IT Support for 6 years previously.Carlo works exclusively on our Support Desk Team providing support to all clients.

Paula
Accounts and Admin.
Paula worked for 10+ years as a secretary at a plc, working her way up to being PA to the Directors of the company for several years, as well as managing a team of secretaries, before starting to work for ICU in 2002.
